The water reservoir ensures that the Kolibri Orchids take care of their own water needs, making maintenance easier.

How does it work?

Step 1 Fill the water reservoir to the indicated arrow with water. Note: Avoid filling it above that level, as the roots of the orchid will be submerged, which the plant does not like.

Step 2 Push the water wicks into the bottom of the pot until the stick is completely hidden. This is usually done for you.

Step 3 Ensure that the water wicks are fully submerged in water. The plants can then take care of their own hydration through the water wicks.

Step 4 Check the water level in the reservoir once a week by removing it from the dish. Add water as needed through the center of the insert.

Pot size 12 cm - Height 30-40cm

Water your orchid once a week by immersing the growing pot in the water. Let the orchid drain well before putting the houseplant back in the decorative pot. Choose a light spot, but not in direct sunlight, with room temperatures between 18 and 21 degrees. Do not place the orchid near a heater or radiator.
